听障儿童的筛查诊治是我科的重点亚专科，目前我科的诊治水平达到国内先进水平。广东省卫生厅于1999年在我院设立；广东省新生儿听力筛查诊治中心；。2009年我科成为广东省妇幼安康工程；新生儿听力筛查；的省级技术指导单位。每年接收转诊病人达到1000人次以上，并且连续举办了十一届国家级和（或）省级新生儿听力筛查诊治学习班，学员遍布自全国各地，人数达3000余名。

耳专科：

1. 广东省新生儿听力筛查诊治中心；

2. 助听器验配和人工耳蜗植入中心；

3. 先天性小耳畸形专科；

4. 耳科常见病：中耳炎、外耳道炎、先天性耳前瘘管等的治疗。

鼻专科：

1. 变态反应专科（过敏性鼻炎等）；

2. 鼻科常见病：鼻炎、鼻窦炎、鼻息肉等的治疗。

咽喉专科：

1. 鼾症（小儿及成人）；

2. 咽喉常见病：声带息肉、喉囊肿、先天性甲舌囊肿等的治疗。

耳鼻喉内镜中心

科室配备电子纤维鼻咽喉镜、硬管镜（鼻内镜、耳内镜、喉镜）、食道镜、支气管镜、小儿支撑喉镜和成人支撑喉镜。

1. 耳鼻喉内镜：

电子纤维鼻咽喉镜和硬管镜的配合能够对耳鼻咽喉各部位进行全方面无缝检查，及早发现病灶。

硬性鼻内镜可开展各种鼻窦炎、鼻中隔偏曲、鼻炎（包括过敏性鼻炎）等手术；

耳内镜可行分泌性中耳炎的置管手术、单纯性鼓膜修补等手术。

2.支气管镜：

能够检查各级支气管并治疗气管和支气管异物，目前每年治疗各类紧急支气管异物100余例。

3.支撑喉镜：

分为小儿专用和成人支撑喉镜。可对声带息肉、喉囊肿等进行微创治疗。

4.食道镜：

能够检查和治疗食道异物。

Otolaryngological Department of GuangDong women and children Hospital

Otolaryngological Department of GuangDong women and children Hospital（GuangDong Children Hospital、GuangDong Women Hospital）is a comprehensive department that specialized both at children and adult diseases. It is the guiding unit of the Guangdong Provincial Maternal and child health project. The department now owns two compuses:the YueXiu compus and the PanYu campus. It owns 10 staffs, including one chief physician, one deputy chief physician, four attending physicians, tow resident doctors and tow audiologists.

Screening diagnosis and treatment of deaf children is the key subspeciality of our department, and won advanced rankings as well as recognitions in the field. Guangdong Provincial Health Department set up "the newborn hearing screening , diagnosis and treatment center of Guangdong Province ；in our hospital in 1999. In 2009, We become ；provincial technology of newborn hearing screening guidance unit；. We received referral patients more than 1000 each year, and conducted 11 times National and (or) provincial classes on newborn hearing screening and diagnosis. The students number exceeds more than 3000 which come from coast to coast.

Otology:

1.Guangdong newborn hearing screening center including diagnosis and treatment.

2.The hearing aid fitting and cochlear implant center.

3.Congenital microtia malformation.

4.Otology diseases, surgical treatment of otitis media, all kinds of congenital otology treatments.

Nasal:

1. Allergy specialist (allergic rhinitis, etc.);

2. The surgery of nasal diseases, nasal polyps and nasal tumor.

Throat:

1.The snore (children and adults);

2.The treatment of throat, vocal cords polyp, laryngeal cysts and congenital thyroglossal duct cyst.

Endoscopy center:

Department is equipped with electronic endoscopy, nasal endoscopy, ear endoscopy, laryngoscope, esophagoscope, bronchoscope, etc.

1.The endoscopy is conducive to check the otolaryngology, discover the early diseases, and assist the operation.

2.Bronchoscopy can be used to check and treat the bronchus, at present more than 100 cases of foreign body in bronchial are treated in a year.

3.The laryngoscope including children and adult, used to finish the minimally invasive surgery.

4.Esophagoscope is ability to check and treat the foreign body in esophageal.
